Try this on for size guys:
In August,took a trip from Madison,Wi to Grand Forks,ND.
Left with a full tank.Drove the first 275 miles at 65mph.The next
161 miles at 60mph...Gassed up in Wadena,MN.I was running 89 octane.
Ok,we drove 436 miles,my 24 gallon tank took 19.5 gallons.
Average MPG came out to 22.3.This is a 2000 QC with the 3.9 V6,+ 4 spd
Auto..+ a Tonneau Cover..
I could have gone another 66 miles,gassed up,and still had a 1.5 gallon
reserve.
Wanna figure out why??...Ohh,i forgot,i'm a Cheesehead!!
Digger
