That drum-looking thing sounds like your power brake unit. Strange that
your header comes out that far. Mopar headers do not have that problem.

Subject: DML: Trying tp install headers.........

I've got a set of Flowtech headers for a 97 4x4 5.2. I tried to put em on
after I put on a Gibson dual cat back (which sounds grrreeeeaaatt). They
would not fit on the drivers side because of a thick drum looking thing
behind the master cylinder. The shop I bought em from said to try and dent
it
in so they would fit and if it didn't then they would purchase another set
for me. WTF? Anyone come by this on a GenIII? Any advice would be much
obliged.
