8/32? That's plenty! Don't worry about it until you have 1/4 inch of
tread left :)

For a RWD vehicle, I would think it's a wide move to put snow tires on
all 4 corners. On a front-drive, you could get away with just putting
them on the front, as your propulsion AND steering are there. I've had
no unusal problems with my Badyear Wrangler RT/S 31x10.5s in the snow,
but I also pull in the 4WD when things get sketchy.
