I find it reasonable, actually. Here in New Mexico, you can't buy insurance
to get out of a ticket. You pay the fine AND have to buy insurance, if you
want to drive. The last time I was in an accident, I was glad that the
other guy DID have insurance, and I was glad that I WAS wearing a seatbelt.
Maybe you should thank the officer!!!!
