I totally agree with Mike on that...you're just asking for trouble. Just
think about it for a minute:

You have an oil film covering most all the parts which may cover your butt
during those "few seconds"...but just take a look at engine builders. They
prime the engine first, regardless of the fact that there's a thin film from
the assembly oil and lube. Ya think they know something that we don't?

Bad idea. you need some oil in the oil pump - unless the 4.7 is special, it
can't pump air. so it it is completely dry you take the chance of not
getting
oil pressure quick enough upon startup. If the oil is that dirty, you might
