Only problem with the New Group is the same as with the email/digest. The
RE: fields add redundant threads to the newsgroup and don't keep them in
order like the other newsgroups. Anyway to fix this?

I updated the mechanism that determines the current number of DML members
to also include those folks who are using the newsgroup. Its not as 100%
accurate as counting the subscribers on the mailing list, but its pretty
decent I think; certainly enough for our needs, which is basically just
to satisfy everyone's curiosity about approximate number of DMLers at
any given time. :-)
FYI: The current total appears to be just a few shy of 900, with just
under 70 of those folks reading the DML via the newsgroup.
