5" is enough =) you can't go more than 5.25" without rubbing in the front,
and that's on a stock truck... wait till you drop it =)
talk to some companies that sell package deals for Gen II Dakotas and ask
them what Backspacing they suggest. Don't forget that a Gen III handles more
backspacing than a Gen II/premag so these Welds you saw may very well be
setup to look good on a Gen III, but might look funny on a Gen II...
