November 17, 1995: Jon Steiger starts the Dakota Mailing List

November 17, 1996: I and Norah Kiraly exchange our first direct e-mail
message on the DML
(http://www.dakota-truck.net/ARCHIVES/9611/0358.html). This is counted
as the day we officially met. Over the next several months, we proceed
to fall madly in love, and I move to her home of Scarborough, Ontario,
Canada.

November 17, 1998: Norah and I are married in Scarborough. She changes
her name to Norah Bleazard, which is how most of you now know her on the
list.

Incidentally...
November 17, 1997: The comic strip User Friendly
(http://www.userfriendly.org) makes its debut on the Internet.

Happy Birthday to the DML, and Happy Anniversary to my wife Norah!
