Welcome to the club!

Sam South and I have broke rear ends so far.....now you have the honor of
being the latest!

If you pull the cover and look for parts, and if you find nothing, it might
be an axle. If you find chunks, you probably toasted the spider gears. It is
also posible to snap the pinion gear without visible damage. You can pull
the cover and watch the rear diff while someone is running it in first gear,
If it spins, you did not break the pinion. You should be able to pull the
axle out (pull the drums and wheels) if you broke it.
