It will a major problem with the upcoming Hemi 6 version, it is the next
auto for them.

Multi-speed is 4.7L only. Don't confuse the real problems with preferences
though. Some DMLers have had winding sounds when shifting to gear,
potentially a real problem. Some are just screaming because it's not a good
tranny for racing, only a preference here. No problems here, but I would
prefer it to shift stiffer. Sorry I can't answer your V6 tranny Q, but I
have to defend my truck.

Well, incase ya'll didnt know, Im military, and my flight chief asked me
about the 2000 Daks... he wanted to know if the V6ers came with that
variable
speed trany that you guys with the 4.7 are having so much trouble with??? I

told him I would ask you guys, and let him know tommorow, I didnt think that

it did, so... what auto tranny is in that truck???
