Dang! If I run without a muffler on my '95 V6 it's really loud! Almost as bad as running
open headers, hehehe!

I've tried a Flowmaster 40 series 2 chamber on my truck and I didn't really like it. It
kind of sounded ricey and had a horrible drone to it when I barely pushed the gas. Right
now I'm running a Thrush glasspack. It doesn't sound very bad. It idles really nice and
when you push the throttle it sounds cool - rumbles and pops when you let off. Only
thing I don't like is when you run through the gears at WOT, all you hear is a big
whoosh from all the air just rushing out (there ain't no rumble). I thought that the
glasspack would kill the low end but with 3.9:1 gears I didn't notice it. I'm thinking
about switching to a Borla but I also have to take into consideration what the heck I'm
going to do with the exhaust when I put the 360 in.
