Ken,
that heater core is in a plastic tank. one that I had busted in my dakota by
accident. It has all the climate zoning flaps inside it. YOU SHOULD USE
PATIENCE! I broke the hiunge off the main flap in mine, and then also had to
replace the cable retainer on the end of it. in order to get the flap, I
hadda buy the entire tank, heater core and all. You dodge dealer might have
that part on his shelf, (I say that because mine would have to order it from
yours). There are studs on the engine side of the firewall, that hold the
tank in place in the floor board, be careful with them too. All in all, I
say it could take you an afternoon, if you are quick, A DAY, if you are
patient. I would like to know how it turns out for ya.
Scott
