fwiw, I swapped out from a 180 to a 195 monday. I drilled 2 (~1/8") holes
in the 195 stat. I went from running cold to running WAAAY cold. I bought
another 195 tonight, this time it won't have any bypass holes... the MPI
intake seems to reduce the running temps slightly, and running w/o a fan
shroud really makes a difference!
Drove to the gf's house and back today, round trip of about 70 miles and she
never got up into the "normal" zone.
