I have a good hood, on my truck, now, it doesnt COME functional, BUT,
proglass makes a dish that you mount under the K&N open air filter (14"
round
type) that will then seal up on the hood when you close it (after you cut
the bottom of the hood with a dremmel tool, REALLY easy to do with the SMALL
router attachment).... I increased my MPG by about 1.5 MPG on the highway,
and when I added the DT headers, it went up to 2.1 MPG!!! Im now getting
18.6 instead of 16.5... I have 1992 Long bed, V8 4x4, auto... weighs in at
4250 w/o me and a full tank of gas, its a big pig, but it still moves along
REAL well.
