You bet ya it will get hooter under there.... a lot hotter, but not enough to
melt anything, so dont worry about that, Ive got DTs on mine, and no probs...
but Ive got a ram air hood on mine, so that takes care of the hot air...
picked up 2.1 MPG with the headers and hood on my 92 4x4 auto V8, LB.
