Hi Jay,

I believe the two synthetics are equal. I buy the Castrol Syntec because
it's cheaper at Costco Wholesale. They don't have Mobil 1 there. As for
the oil filter, I didn't notice that it took any more oil. Same five
quarts.

How was the Holiday? You mention that you use Castrol oil in your Dak, do
you have any opinions on the Mobil 1 Tri-Synthetic 10W30? Is it true that
the K&N HP-2004 oil filter holds more oil than say a Fram
PH-16, which it is crossed with?
