Just got done with the 1000 mile oil change and I can tell you I'm
starting to lean towards having the dealer do it (I refuse to take my
new truck to any of the quick change places, all the local ones are
staffed by morons). I could barely get the filter loose (does the 900
lb gorilla put it on too, almost resorted to the screwdriver trick),
the skid plate is a friggin' mess (tried to leave it on, ended up
pulling it to clean it up) and the filter drips like a mother on the
front end plastic (what the hell is that piece of plastic with the way
too small filter access hole in it called anyway?)

Next time:
1. Some sort of filter wrench that has 1/2" drive on it (any
        sugestions?)
2. Take the skid plate off first.
3. Get hose for fumoto oil valve BEFORE i take out the drain plug so I
        can install it.

Well, I've got almost 2000 miles to decide, with the holidays coming
up, that might only be the first of January.

Done with my rant.
