Well the one recall for the trans cross brace brackets missing supposedly
only affected about 12 trucks and the recall went to only a couple hundred
trucks that left the line during a specific window of time. My truck was built
in late September of '99. I bought it in early December '99. The other early
one for the PCM re-flash didn't affect mine either so it must have been for the
early built 2k models as well. The front axle pinion bolt recall is just now
going out, but I think it affects all 2k 4x4 Daks, so more people will be
getting that one, and I know there has already been discussion on the list
about that. So there is 1 common one for 2K 4x4 Daks, the pinion bolt recall.
And there is the common recall of all gen III Daks for the axle vent hose. I
agree man.... it ain't right to have 4 recalls in the first 11 months of
ownership! I'm takin abuse even from my wife!!

Just doesn't make sense, Tim, that you've had 4 recalls but, or nor anyone
else on this list (even those with the exact same setup truck as you) have
