Yes. It modifies the MAP voltage to simulate WOT. When under boost, the
MAP actually registers 30.8" of vacuum which leans the living snot out of
the engine. Also, there's other "Magic Boxes" which DO work, but they
modify the O2 signal to simulate Open-Loop. This works, but the computer
has a brain and learns this. When you modify the MAP signal, it's reset
every time you start the engine. (Computer can't learn that.)
