For 98-99 (and I assume onwards), the computer picks up the speed from
the rear axle. You can change transmission and rear end ratios as much
as you want, it's all cool, no computer change neccessary. no spedo gear
change. Only a change in tire diameter will require that the computer
be reprogrammed.
