Yes you can but it's not recommended.

If you're a few quarts low something's screwed in your tranny.

Check again at full running temp, put the emergency brake on and check the
level with the truck in neutral, not park. Make sure you're on a level
surface as well.

Can I use just standard Aaamco ATF+3 in my truck? I'm a few quarts low,
and bought that, they didn't have an ATF+3 7176. Is the just plain Aamco
