Dan, the Auburn Unit is a very good unit, a buddy of mine had his factory spiders ('96 8.25") break and he took it to a race shop, they highly recommended the Auburn unit for Street/Strip use. He had them install it, and he's been very happy with it.

Then i get, we'll be shippin it monday, i call again, no, it'll be another 3
weeks. I said screw that and canceled my order. I went to
nationaldrivetrain.com and they had a unit on the shelf, i said i'll take
that then. The next day (yesterday) they said they couldn't sell it.
Powertrax is recalling all thier units because thier having case's of them
breaking and their working on a new design. But they said they had an
auburn unit. Are these good? Any other units out there good? thanks just
to double check, the 97' 2wd has the 8.25" 29 spline?
