There are ways around the incorrect axle lug pattern when swapping in another
rear axle. You either A. Buy custom axles, or B. Have the stock ones
plugged, welded, and redrilled :o) Same with the drums. For my 8 3/4 I
opted to have custom shafts made, and redrilled factory 10" drums...
Hindsight I wish I would have gone 11" on the rear brakes, oh well though,
maybe disc's in the future, who knows...
