Well I reset the computer last night... Yesterday I drove about 70 miles or
so before the MIL tripped, today I drove less than 30 before it tripped.
I did have a scanner hooked up yesterday while I was driving, but had to
return it before the MIL was tripped.

So from what you're telling me is that you reset the computer, it drove fine
for the first 50-60 miles (guessing on that since you didn't say), and then
it started to "freak out". Right? Sounds like a learning curve to me.
Yes, the FMS 24# are blue (not really light blue though...more ont eh darker
blue side.)
Do you have access to a scanner to use while driving?
