Yea, their are some 16" slicks out there, but they cater to F-body GM's, and Mustangs, so the height will be around 26", which may be OK if you want your gearing to drop, but keep in mind your stock tire is around 29" I believe for a 2001??
If you go to 15" you'll have a much greater selection, and the 15" rims will be cheaper.

Don't know about real slicks though.

plan on driving on four and burning up two, then replace the two. Are 16"
slicks common, or would it be worth my time to buy some 15" rims so all my
subsequent slicks, hopefully used, will be cheaper? Can you find used 16"
 slicks?
