>From what I see, the motor mounts look different than the LA motors and that
might require a little fabrication.I think the rest of it would be about the
same as any other EFI motor swap.Have you thought about using a T-5? what
about the Tremec 5-speed? Or a richmond 5 or 6 speed? If you are looking for
all-out performance or racing capabilities,you wouldn't want to do a 4.7L
swap just yet.Not enough aftermarket parts for upgrades yet. Also, think
about using an auto, because the NV-3500 is not exactly a performance
transmission, and won't stand up to too much all out racing, especially
behind a modified motor. If I had your truck, I would be thinking 380 crate
motor/built 727 or 904 auto/8&3/4 rear.Just my thoughts, though! HTH,

I'm not trying to start a flame war over the merits of the 5.9 vs the
4.7, but how difficult would the INSTALL be? In a few months here,
I'll have my Dak paid off :) and can start to save for future
repairs..er..modifications.

In my situation, I would be hooking it up to an NV3500 5-spped. Then
there's the fuel system, computer, etc...Just something to thing about.
