You know with all the crazies on the road today, If I were stopped by a
truck at night I might just run for a public area just to make sure that I
had witnesses. We had a incident here in the Town where I live that stopped
the plain car bit for a while. About 2 years ago, Some guys had put a blue
lite in an old Crown Victoria and were pulling women over then carjacking
them. They only wanted the hi-dollar cars, (part of car theft ring) thank God
no one was hurt or killed. They got caught after about a month but for a
while no one would stop for a plain car with a blue light. Public got too
scared to. Police made a public TV anouncement That they would suspend use
of plain cars until further notice. And they did for about 6 months. Bill
