Many thanks to everyone that showed up for the SpeedZone/CHiPs for Kids
finale today! KCAL will be airing their coverage of it on Channel 9
news at 9 PM tonight. WATCH IT!
There were 12 Dodge vehicles including a Durango (Tony), a Valiant, and
the rest Dakotas. PTeazer showed up with 4 incredible PT Cruisers. The
Galaxy and the Kings had a booth each. The SpeedZone calendar girls
were on site for autographs. The SpeedFreaks - Kenny, Crash and Luggnut
(not plural!) were great and hammed it up very well with the CHP
officers on site. Turns out the public affairs officer from the CHP did
up his own SEMA quality PT that was totally gorgeous!
Many thanks to RaceSearch.com, APP Forged Wheels and Catz lights for the
banners. It did lend a festive air to the activities.
For a nice and fun note. Stacey Edstrand was pummelled on the Slick
Trac by Gary Pinkley and Ed Halterman. She spent a lot of time sideways
and on the side of the track. Gotta remove that bullseye from the back
of the car!!! Everyone had a great time. Many thanks to Melissa Luna
at SpeedZone for her efforts and a great event! Hope you all will
attend the DTOA get together in January (January 20)!!!
