I saw a Ram the other day that had some sort of spray in liner (Line-X?) in
the bed and was checking it out in the parking lot. Then I noticed he also
had it sprayed on his rocker panels. From just below the rub strips down,
front fender (behind front tire only I think), the bottom of both doors,
and bottom of the bed sides (in front of and behind the rear tire). He had
black rub strips on a red Ram, so the black color of the coating kind of
tied into the rub strips....looked pretty good actually.
I have been planning to put the molded splashguards on my 2000 4X4 QC, but
personally am not wild about how they look on trucks- I think it kind of
messes up the lines of the truck somehow...just a personal opinion
obviously. I do feel like I need to do something though, with nothing
there the tires just throw too much garbage onto the sides of the truck.
Anybody else tried (or scene) the bedliner thing on the rocker panels?
Just looking for opinions.
Thanks,
Chuck- Charlotte, NC
