I think it has to do with signifigance, at least in their mind. WHen the
3rd door came out on the S-10 it was a first, different, and above all,
highly publicized. Besides, they were probably scared of giving the current
dak yet a 4th award (97 was the Dakopta Sport V8, 98 was the R/T, and 00 was
the Quad Cab :D ) So, we can't complain too much :)
