Subject: DML: Anyone running 4.10s? (4.10 -vs- 3.92) (Getting new gears
Tues)

Well, Tuesday I get my gears installed. My question is this: (I know, I
feel like I'm beating this to death) I have a 2000 CC 4.7L Auto. I have the
factory 3.55. I have P275/60R17 (30") So, I'm running a 3.33 overall with
the new tires. My question. Would it be too much to go with the 4.10's? I
was told this would give me an overall 3.92. Would this be too much for my
motor? I would like to keep my truck up to about 110,000miles. If I'm
cruising on the highway at around 3000rpm, is this too much? What are the
long term effects on the motor, if any? I'm religious about changing my oil
& filter every 3,000 miles. Mobil-1 5W-30 synthetic and K&N HP-2004. Will
the 4.10s give me excellent performance? Both street and track? Will the
3.92s give me similar performance. I guess, I want to have the fastest
truck, both high-end and low-end. So which is the best?

Thanks for all your help
william.
