Hey everyone,
Since I'm installing a 8 3/4 into the Dakota ths week, probably Tuesday, I'd
like to sell my 8 1/4 to try and recoup some of the $900 bucks I'll have
invested in the 8 3/4 before it's all said and done. It has the ABS Tone
ring, I'll include the sensor. All new rear brakes 10,000 miles ago, these
are the 9" Variety. Wagner premium rivited pads, Carlson brake hardware,
adjusting and hold down parts. Drums have been resurfaced. Wheel cylinders
are factory pieces in GREAT shape. The rear had had Mobil 1 synthetic in it
as long as I have owned the truck, and makes NO noise, clunks, bangs, whirrs,
whistles, or any of that business. It is filled with a factory Peg leg
carrier, and 3.55 gears, it also has the large U-joint Yoke, 7290 / 316
Precision number. A SG for these can be had for $170 from Randy's Ring and
Pinion. If someone wanted this installed in the axle, they could buy it and
I'd install it for them, for a very minimal cost. Delivery just about
anywheer in Michigan is possible, if you're willing to help with gas $20-50
depending on distance. I may be able to arrange delivery to King of Prussia,
Pensylvania if that would help. I'm asking $250 drum to drum. Or the closest
offer. If no one bites I may part it out since my friend needs 3.55 gears
but doesn't want to buy the whole thing for gears only.
