I know the factory specs on my GenII V6 is 600 rpms. It idles at this range
most of the time and has for as long as I cant remember; typically idles
within the 600-800 rpms range. If you are worried about having a high idle,
try cleaning the TB really good if your truck has some miles on it as well
as cleaning the TB air idle sensor. Since my install of the QuickD TB and
the Ford Motorsport #19 fuel injectors, it is always the 600-650 rpms
marker.
