Re: Fuel Sending Units/Fuel Pumps

When I replaced mine; I had 133,000 miles on it. This
was this past June. I bought mine from Carquest. Now
for your question why yours fails all the time. Do you
always let your tank get as empty as possible before
your next fill up? If you do; know that when you do
this, your fuel pump has to work harder to get to the
required psi. Also, switch blends if you can. I tend
to stay away from one particular gas company in my
area because they add water to their mixture. How do I
know this? I used to work for them about 7 years ago
and they are still doing it. With the fuel prices
being like they are today; we all look for the best
pricing. Sometimes this is not the best choice! I'm
just pulling things out of air here so to speak. But,
try this. It might be your only problem.
