The method I used was to fill up the system at the radiator cap, then
leaving the cap off, start up the engine and let it get warm. Once the
engine is running, the water pump will force any air pockets to bubble
out, so you'll see the fluid level drop some. Keep adding fluid
(remember to keep the right mix of antifreeze and distilled water) till
full. Then, top up the overflow tank to where it's indicated on the
stick.
