Hey All who are interested in my old class 3 hitch!!
I went to the shipping place, and to give an idea, how much it can cost to
ship, I came up witha 38x16x6" box, weighing 42#, ships as far as Maine for
38 bucks. It can be a lot cheaper, depending on where you live. It came
off of my gen II dak, a 1996, and has a max width of 38". The hitch has a
max trailer weight of 3500#. The receiver has a switchable ball system, and
all it requires to remove and replace the ball is a small hammer,a nd apin
punch, tapped against the little dimple on the pin in the ball. It comes
out easily, I tested it. The packing place can construct a box, and pack it
well for 16 bucks. I hope this helps all who are interested.
