Do the math. $20/month for CompuServe times 3 years = $720. When you
take that $400 "rebate" you're committed to paying for 3 years of
CompuServe service, so it'll actually cost you $320 more.

Now, cable will be more expensive, but get a LOT more for your buck than
with dial-up to CS.
