My first thought on this is to fire Zetsche first before anything is going
to happen. This man ambition is to be the next boss for DC. He is a mere
political animal than an auto builder.

As some of you know, I've been "moonlighting" in some K-car information
lately and so dealing with Mopar folks more. I find it amazing that many
of them are old AMC owners, and many also are almost in the same

Being as AMC/Jeep lines are now "foreign owned", it's a crying shame.
JEEP.....now, shouldn't that be an American owned brand???? For those
who haven't heard(and I don't know how "well" any of these are going,
but) there have been lawsuits filed AGAINST the Daimler Dragon due to
the so called "merger" really becoming a "takeover". Chrysler is
becoming just a "division" of Daimler and not a partner. MOST of the top
Chrysler people of the past are gone from the company and Daimler
control is pretty dominant! Not only have we lost everything that
Chrysler had(and no matter how much I might say against them in some
ways, I also have seen some VERY good vehicles come from Mopar in the
past), we have also lost Jeep, and ALL that was ever "American Motors"
at one time.....it's not foreign owned! YUK! OK.....I'm not a
billionaire, like Kirk Kerkorkian(who is one wanting the Daimler "deal"
unwound as he got bilked in the takeover), and I'm not Time magazine so
can't put word out everywhere, but I've noticed that really ALL of
Chrysler/Jeep/Eagle/Dodge/AMC/Plymouth fans are of kindred in this....we
need to band together. Maybe we won't get our vehicle brands back, but
if we don't say anything, we are essentially saying "we don't care".
Well...I think many of us DO care, even if our FSJs are no longer being
made.....we don't want to see Jeep and Chrysler raped anymore than
already has taken place. I have setup a "poll" AND a
"guestbook".....merely asking if people are interested in seeing(in some
form) a return to Chrysler/Jeep/AMC brands to US ownership! Now, mind
you.....we may bicker between some of these brands, but right now, we
NEED to join together and voice our opinions about the whole "loss" of
these brands. The more of us banding together, the more noise we can
make. Even if we can't get Chrysler back "in company name", we "could"
conceivably seek to develop a "NEW" American Motors company and attempt
to bring the brands back underneath THAT flag! There are possibilities,
but we MUST band together and voice our concern and interest in
returning this brands from OUT of the Dragon's cave and back into US
ownership!
I'm not asking people to merely repeat what I say.....voice your OWN
thoughts....good, bad, ugly, whatever....but DO voice your opinion! The
future of JEEP is at stake here folks....so are other brands, but JEEP
is in the dragon's den.....are we going to put up with that???? 3 steps
here:
1)Check this page out....VOTE(once only...we want this to be on the
level, guys!!!)
2) and then SIGN the guestbook
3)....and then SPREAD The word to any/all
AMC/Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth folks out there!!!!
