Patrick,
I should have some 70mm throttle-bodies in a couple of weeks. They
will have thinner plate posts and 70mm butterflies. However, I did hand port
the 68mm TB. The inlet is only 66mm (evidence of more detuning) and you will
want to remove the lip to open it up to a true 68mm. I would then suggest
knife-edging the inlet for increased and undisturbed flow to the butterfly. I
haven't dynoed the modified 68mm yet, but I can really tell a difference in
the seat of the pants.
