You didn't trim the plastic? That's a nasty sounding noise! I had the same
thing on mine and trimmed the plastic up about 1.5"...no noise now. :)

Yep, I am here. 33x12.5 on stock 15x8 rims. The inside corners of the
tread barely rubs at full lock and makes a thumping noise...a less
aggressive tread pattern might not rub at all. The louder noise that people
think sounds awful is when the plastic wheel well liner gets loose and
catches on the tread.
