Florida Everglades Run-was fun

Hey List,

Thought some of you might get a kick out of this.

Sunday some friends and I took off to the 'Glades to 'splore new fishing
holes.
The Corps of Eng. dug lots of canals years ago and most have a single
lane gravel(dirt) road running next to them(kind of like a levee). They
run for miles and miles. Many have washes, axle deep and over so its
best not to get carried away speedwise unless you know the terrain.

But on the way back you can open things up a bit and really enjoy the
ride. Insert "Tread Lightly" here.

Well, you can 'petrify' passengers at about 50mph in relative safety in
a Dak 4X4 at 4700 pounds+ and feel quite fine.

Monday's comments were basically "can't believe your truck runs like
that and still be so stabile-you coulda run those roads at 80 and still
be ok". Course I wouldn't run 80 in 4WD but It Was Fun.

Sorry if long post.
