The American automobile industry has not gotten it together since they were
being blown away in the 80's. I drove a VW golf that I bought in 1985 until
I just purchased a 2001 DAK SLT. Love it! In 85, the comparable cars to
the VW were plastic boxes. That is also what I noticed about the Chevy's
and Fords that compare to the DAK. I guess there is no comparison.
