Two of the best things I ever did was put those rubber edges on the doors and
installed the SLT style molded door/body side protectors (I have a sport model
and they aren't offered as option for some weird reason). They offer great
protection from the door dinging gremlins and look good to boot.

I pretty much decided to suck up and deal with the fact that she ain't gonna
be pretty forever, and I'll just have to accept the beauty marks. The door
dings still piss me off though, mostly because they're the result of
inconsiderate, negligent idiots. Any marks gotten off-road...well, them's
battle scars.
