FYI. I had my tires rotated (36K plus on the original Badyears!) and told the
guy about the "tractor trailer groan" I've been getting out of my rear brakes
and asked him to check 'em out.
He said they are only about half worn but there was a lot of brake dust/crud in
there. He cleaned them out and there is no more groan...
Just thought you might like to know.
