OK, so now that my radiator needs to be replaced (see previous thread), I was
wondering if there was a heavier-duty radiator that I could bolt in place of
my stock Gen II V6...say the radiator for a V8? or a heavy duty radiator? I
need to order tomorrow AM, so any input appreciated. My last radiator blew
up, am hoping to find a replacement that has more cooling capacity...
if a v8 radiator bolts up, do the hoses still line up? Anyone?
The dealer has 2 radiators listed for a 96 dakota: standard and heavy-duty.
Apparently the heavy duty includes lines for the transmission or something. I
don't have the heavy-duty cooling package, but would be interested in the
raduiator if it had extra cells, even if I have to seal up any extra lines to
it? Does anyone have a v6 heavy-duty that could tell lme how many lines are
hooked to it?
