Seth, If you're actually interested in doing this-check with DJM
suspension.I don't know if you saw it or not, but a while back on TRUCKS!
they put a DJM kit on a 4x4 durango and lowered it.I don't know if it is
durango specific, but if it is, you might have to fabricate your own rear
parts, as all durangos are spring-under and your 4x4 dakota is spring

I was just being stupid....actually the thought was
triggered in my head because I saw a magazine truckin
(Ib elieve) who lowered a 4X4 silverado. They claimed
it was beneficial because it worked like all wheel
drive. I didn't think it would work quite like they
expected. I just wanted to see what everyone would
think. You all thought I was a horses ass hehehehe.
