I think shifting at 5500 on a 4.7 is okay. I wouldn't mess with the cabling
too much. The 45RFE tranny you have is controlled through the TCM (new) so
some glitches could occur. If that is the case take it back to your dealer.
They have the adjustments (hopefully) necessary to correct it. There are
several TSB's out on the transmission. Still 5500 isn't too high for this
engine.
