That's "open loop". If that were the case it would throw a OBD-II code
(P1281). Our trucks are notorious for low mpg's....'cuz they're trucks. By
the way, Bill, from a performance standpoint, it's much better if you go
easy during the re-learn process.

Just a guess but it sounds like the truck is never warming up enough. The

is never getting out of closed loop mode.
