For all interested. The DACUDA is now dash-less. I hooked up with a
guy in Orange County that will vacuum form any type of dash kit laminate
to your existing parts. Just get him the parts and he will do it. Very
nice work too. Saw his stuff on a lot of SEMA vehicles and OEM
vehicles. So, today after getting disgusted at the game (tired
Giants!), I started pulling the dash apart. After the main bezel and
the door panels (pull rings and surrounding plastic along with power
control panels), I consulted the good old FSM. Then proceeded to remove
all the lower dash pieces including the glove box cover. Will only have
to use two flat pieces for the end parts. Otherwise, the entire thing
will be carbon fiber covered!! Not too bright though. This guy can
tint the carbon fiber as dark as you want. Just traditional look, but a
little darker. Should be awesome. Am dropping off everything Monday
and then picking up Wednesday afternoon.
