Central NY Meet Feb 3

One final note/reminder on the meet this coming weekend in Syracuse,
NY. Looks like we'll have about 5 Daks and 3 Durangos. Just thought
I'd toss this out one last time in case we have any newcomers.

The Dinosaur BBQ opens at 11 AM on Saturdays. While this is a little
early (especially for some of the gut-burners they have), we really
should get there to see the doors open - the place fills up FAST and
they don't take reservations, even for a group our size (I figure 8-10
altogether). Once we're done eating, we'll mosey on over to the
museum. The Dino and the museum are on the same block, so we can park
in one spot and just walk around the corner.

Let's all hope that we have one of those rare Syracuse days with that
big yellow ball in the sky so we can get some nice pictures.

Directions to get there:
FYI, I-90 is a toll road. Also, parking will run 2 bucks per vehicle;
Make sure you bring about 5 dollars in singles.

>From the north:
Take I-81 south to Exit 20 (Franklin/West Streets)
Continue straight through the light on Franklin
Take the first left onto Herald Place
Park in the lot on the left.

>From the south:
Take I-81 north to I-690 (no exit number that I can find; just north of
exit 18/Harrison Street)
See directions for east/west

>From the east or west:
Take I-690 to exit 11 (West Street)
Take the first left (far left lane) onto Fayette Street
Take first left onto West Street (northbound)
Get into the far right lane
At the 690 east/west split, stay to the far right and take the off-ramp
to Herald Place
Cross Franklin Street
Park in the lot on the left

>From the parking lot:
As you're standing in the lot looking out at Herald Place, turn right to
walk back out to Franklin.
Once you've reached Franklin, turn left and walk about a block to the
Dino BBQ.
If you turn left from the lot, then right at Salina Street, you'll be
walking towards the museum entrance
